Expert witness statement on the safety of GM food and feed
Prepared by Dr. Mae-Wan Ho for the defence of Greenpeace protestors arrested for demonstrating against GM feed.
I have been asked to comment on the state of knowledge as at February 2005 with respect to genetically modified (GM) DNA in meat and dairy products from animals fed on GM feedstuffs, and whether consumption of such meat and dairy products pose a health risk to human consumers.
